You are in the right place brother. Ask away. There is also a powerstroke engine forum in the engines section

welcome to FTE.
yes you are in the rite place to ask questions on your truck.
for engine questions though, i would recommend asking them down in the 94.5 to 97 powerstroke diesel forum, down the page a bit in the diesel section.

Thanks!!! My truck is ‘occasionally’ stalling when I let off the accelerator or when I stop at a traffic light. The problem is intermittent and unpredictable. It has started right up afterwards except for this morning when twice it took a bit of cranking to get it going. It runs strong and smooth as long as I don’t let off the accelerator.
I recently replaced the fuel bowl and the fuel pump as they were leaking and thought that would take care of the issue as well… it did not.
I have an OBDII but did not see a connection for it… and could not find a thing on the net about it or the location… I looked under the hood and under the dash.
So, where to start?

sounds like it could be a failing Cam Position Sensor, or a failing Throttle Position Sensor.
