Drivers Side Heated Seat Issue

Drivers Side Heated Seat Issue
Granted, in my part of the world heated seats aren't needed often, but I'd like mine to work when I need it to.
The drivers side heated seat quit working. It is in a 2009 Ford F-150 Lariat, 4WD. If you press the button, the light will come on for less than a second, then shut off. The passenger side works fine. I've seen a thread on here describing the repair, but it was on an older Expedition, I believe. It involved taking the seat out and repairing/replacing a wire that seemed to have not been heavy enough to carry the load. And if that's the fix (shy of taking it to the dealer), that's fine. But I wanted to know if the fix was the same for an 09 as it was for an 03? I've lost the thread and can't find it on any search I've performed thus far.
Any ideas of the fix and how complicated it might be?
Thanks in advance.
