Welcome to the forum, ford48! I'd get this in front of your dealership so they can check things out. Once you get a diagnosis, come back and post your results. I'll be able to look into ways to assist once your dealer has taken a look.

2011 Ford F250 transmission leak

just got back from having the truck check out, they found transmission oil pan bolts loose and tighten them, they made note to check on next service.

I am going to wash down when its warm enough to do so with out everthing under there turning to ice and keep a eye on it.

First new Ford truck I have ever owned did not want to think I was going to have problems with it. I have had quit a few used ford truck with little or no problems, just did not want my retirement truck to be different.

THANKS Crystal for your response that made me feel better.

They might have to pull the transfer case off to see where the leak is.

You still have powertrain warranty.

Hope it is just a seal in there.

Let's get this into the hands of your regional customer service manager, ford48. PM me the details, including your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership. I'll do the rest.

Crystal taken the truck back to Glockner Ford South Point, OH and had it checked again and they allowed me to look at with them on the rack and it does look like the transmission pan look it is what is leaking and blowing up on the back of the transmission. They just called and they gasket is in and I am to take it back Monday morning for them to install it. My phone is 740 532 3050 if you need to talk to me.

Hi ford48,

I don't have the ability to reach out to folks via the phone; if you don't have PM access yet, I recommend calling our Customer Relationship Center at 1-800-392-3673. They have the same ability to assist that I do. Additionally, I recommend editing your public post to remove your phone number.

Tell them to put you in a rental, and keep the truck for a few days to verify it has been repaired. This is nonsense on the dealer's part.
