What should my 1993 F-250 have for Diesel emblems? It doesn't say Diesel anywhere and I would like put the right emblems on it.

 

the '93's don't have any diesel emblems other than on the tailgate.but imho,you should put whatever you want on it.there's plenty of run of the mill oem trucks.make her your own.i did.limit yourself to your imagination rather than limit yourself to the assembly line.

 

My 92 didnt either, not even on the tailgate. The IDIT trucks had a little turbo diesel emblem on it iirc, maybe that was the early psd (before the powersroke badge) I had a set of Diesel emblems off an 85 i stuck on mine. Looks pretty good.

 

^^^ right. 87-94 NA trucks had no emblems. 93-94 factory turbo trucks had a small "Turbo Diesel" script below the F250/F350 on the fender:

 

The 88 my engine came from had "DIESEL" on the filler panel below the left headlight, and my 85 chassis donor had this:

Yea the 86-91s should have it below the left headlight where the gassers have 4x4 or EFI

 

You're right... when I said no badges for 87-94 NA I was just thinking side fender badges. The 87-91 does have the emblem under the headlight:

I agree with FORDF250 though, you should put on what you like and personalize it.

 

Does anyone know where I can get the diesel emblem that goes under the drivers side headlight for my 1991 7.3. I really want it!!

 

Junkyard or eBay I'm afraid. Repro dealers like LMC truck or NPD don't seem to carry it. I look every time I go to the junkyard but the diesel badges are usually missing. I have a few of the 83-86 diesel badges, the others are pretty rare.
