I have an early 99 and I believe it has the late intake on it though? The air filter is a flat rectangle. I want to order an intake and need to know which one I have for sure. Thanks for your help.

I want to get the 6637 kit from riffraff with the big boost filter

 

That looks identical to the one that came on my e99. I purchased the 6637. It probably would have been fine if I did not pull a trailer 8-10 hrs per day some days. However, after about two hours of listening to the whine of the turbo, I started to really dislike it. So, I looked for alternatives and settled for the S&B. The S&B is not as quiet as what you have but it is lots quieter than the 6637.

 

Don't drive the truck to much so not to worried about noise. I think it's the late setup since it would take a straight piece of pipe and not a 45 like the earlys are supposed too

 

The early boxes suck threw the fender well only. The late ones threw the front like yours dose. Its a late box..
