Thanks again for the warm welcome everyone. I was on HAMB and got lots of ideas on removing the body. I'm going to renew my membership to the site and hopefully no one will object to posting about this project. I got all the body mounting bolts out and the steering column out, so I'm about ready to build a dolly and pull the sucker off. Then I got the flu, then I got bronchitis. Just got back for the doc's office, they put on antibiotics. So I'm out of commission for a while. . Hey badmoon, is that a ch**y engine in there?

Zoot, if someone doesn't like it, they don't have to look at the thread. The moderators tend to give us some room. But to be on the safe side, just put a Y-Block in it.

Badmoon, generally I don't go for that style, but that looks very well done. I wouldn't quite put that in a rat rod category based on what people are throwing together and calling rat rods nowadays.

Model A

Thanks everyone. It's sort of a rat rod, just because I left it in primer. It came with a chevy small block which I had to totally rebuild.

However, my current project, the 1956 Ford C600 coe, has a 302, so I hope I'm back in all of your good graces.

Regards. Mark.

I was just curious about the engine because I'm trying to decide what to put in my A. I know those fit easier, but it's kind of hard for me to not but a Ford in a Ford. No worries

Zoot,

my next project is a 26 Model T roadster pick-up. I'm planning on a straight 8 flathead Packard for power if all goes right

Bobby, those straight flat 8's are so cool. When you get to that project you have to show us that one.
