43k something would've been the financed amount after rebates and trading the '13 in.....don't recall all the specifics but rebates were 2K ??? and they "gave" me 2K for trade .....I'm not even sure what the msrp even was.....honestly the process was a bit of a blur admittedly was very caught up in the "New '15" euphoria

EcoBoost 3.5 FX4...... did I get a great deal????? In my mind I did

Assuming all goes well with my 2011, I've bought the last truck that I ever intend to. Things could change of course and the truck could turn into a pile and in which case, I won't throw two cents at it.

My intent for the future is to buy a small DD and take advantage of 40+ MPG's and use the truck as needed and for fun.

Rust will take mine before it wears out. Living in the rust belt changes the whole equation if you want your vehicle to look nice. Out West no rust means zero rust. Out here no rust means no holes or bubbling paint.

Yeah that sucks..... out here if you keep it out of the sun it'll look good 20 years down the road or more

Most of the '15's in my neck of the woods are selling at MSRP according to the sales guys I have talked with. A fair amount of '14's still on the lot too.

The 2015 is a great truck, but I am not caught in the "euphoria".....

Of course they would, they have an incentive to make you think that full MSRP is reasonable. According to Truecar, the average in the zip code your IP puts you at is $3,500 below MSRP.

I never had them put together any numbers for me as I am currently not interested in a 2015 F-150. I am however talking with a dealership north of here on a 2015 F-250 Lariat......

Stop creeping on my IP

I plan on ordering a '15 later this year to hopefully take advantage of the rebates plus the D plan.

$12K off is a tough number to ignore. I think I'd have to go with the prior years model. Being a long term owner, I think that's a good thing too. Anything goes wrong, they'll know how to address it.

I think you may be waiting a while. I would imagine we won't see any real incentives until Claycomo comes online. It'll be interesting to see.

To get back on track with this thread, I'd say $12k off MSRP would get me in a '14 if I was looking for a brand new half ton. For what I would be looking for, a fairly loaded down truck ($50k range), a '14 would be attractive due the pricing difference as well. I would imagine $10k off sticker is pretty common, bought my '10 (10/10), '12 (2/12), & '13 (3/13) right around $9-10k off sticker with the incentives.

Here's what it took for me: 2014 screw 5.5 XLT, EB, Max Tow, 302A, Leather, HID, 3.73 E-lock. Top line list is $48,825. True MSRP is $46,075 (48,825 - 2,000 lux. package dis. - 750 leather + HID discount). $34,276 out the door, includes $17 state title fees. Financed partly through Ford Credit for the $1K rebate.

Build date was 12/10/14. Weather this month has been pretty bad to sell vehicles (not much snow, but cold and windy). My guess on a '15 if I could find one with the same package would be about $41K (slightly higher sticker and less dealing).

Assuming $3.50/gallon, 15,000 miles a year, 3 years and 18mpg average on a '14 = $8,750

If I got it by that much cheaper or more, I'd be getting "free" gas for 3 years, I think that would be a compelling argument.

Well I went to the lot fully expecting to get a 14 with all the money off they were advertising. But after looking at a 14 FX4 and a 15 XLT w/FX4 package the final cost was the same with the difference in financing (5.5% for the 14 3.49% for the 15) the get out the door price was the same so I went with the 15
