Well she's back home, and I couldn't be happier, it shifts even better now than the first time he built it lol he found a Crack in one of the piston assemblis inside letting fluid by between 2nd and OD I guess, I think that's what he said.... he gave me the part but the inside of transmissions are all foreign to me. Even though his secretary probably thinks I'm a needy schoolgirl callin her everyday looking for info but after having it gone for 2 weeks and potential for over 6 inches of snow this weekend I was needing it back pretty bad.

Yea he doesn't know what really caused it either, he said he's never seen that happen before, so it must have just been a weak part... he said he was afraid it was going to be something he'd have to chase for awhile to find lol

I have 24K on the trans and John told me to have it serviced at 30K. I emailed him and asked if I should do it now or next Oct when it will have about 34K on it after our six month trip. He said to bring it in now. I made the statement that I wanted to do the right thing as far as warranty goes.

Yes I am Nate. I didn't mention it to him that I was bringing it. When he is doing the service I'll mention to him that I feel that my shifts are a little sloppy and see if he'll live up to his original promise to set the shift points.

I didn't want to hit him up about that, if I can get the shift points set, I'll be happy. I'll probably just get the service knowing my luck. I'm working on another avenue for live tuning unless of course John can (if he got into tuning) and will let me on the dyno.
