Fuel Question
I got a 92 f150 that had been sitting for 13yrs and was parked with a lot of gas in it. gas dried up and tanks and pumps rusted up. I got the side tank cleaned up and a pump put in it. Rear tank is off and the pump is still hanging on the lines. The way I picked it up. I turn on the key and the front pump kicks on for a short time. Just like it should. I cycled the key a couple times and didn't get any fuel up top at the test port. disconnected the fuel line from the filter and no fuel is in the filter.
Does the rear tank have to be hooked up with fuel in it for the front tank to work? is what I am rhinking because it is sucking air from the rear pump

Are you seeing any fuel leak from the rear FDM? If air can get in then fuel will get out, but you may just need to prime all the lines.. or they could be clogged with varnish too. Did you replace the fuel filter? I say jump the pump circuit at the EEC test connector and let the pump run continuously until you get clean fuel out of one end or the other.
