2002 Excursion COP Boots

Hello, I am new to this forum--this is my first post. I have a 2002 Excursion with the V10 engine. I need to replace my spark plugs and want to replace the boots as well. as recommend by many on this forum. Can anyone tell me where I can obtain replacement boots. I called my local Ford dealership and was told that the boots are not sold separately--you have to buy the entire COP ($75+ each). I found some aftermarket boots online but haven't been able to find any that specify they are a match for the 2002 V10. Appreciate any help you can offer.

Parts stores should be able to order them. Denso makes them OE for ford. Part# 671-0001. It is sold and shipped as a pack of 10. If anyone is breaking them down individual, they are robbing you.

Welcome to the forums, hope you stay around a while.

Archion- that's interesting how Denso is owned by Toyota and is there OE manufacturer which also makes motorcraft parts. Hmmm.

Less than half of their business is actually to Toyota. They make a lot of parts for US and other manufacturers. Toyota owns less than 25%. They have been independent from them for a number of years.

I just recently replaced all my spark plugs, boots, springs and coils with "eBay" plugs and I'm VERY pleased with the results.

Rockauto is a great place to get parts from also. You can get boots/springs from them between $2-5 a piece

does that Denso part number include springs? If so, looks like the way I will go as its plug time for me also.

Thanks for the feedback. I found the Denso boots at Rock Auto for $30.89 (10 pack). The picture shows the spring with the boot, so I am assuming you get both, although the part description doesn't mention the spring. I have found some great information while browsing around on this forum and will be visiting frequently for sure. Many thanks!!!
