idles but can not give gas or it will die
i have a 1995 f150 that will idle just fine untill you give gas then it acts like running out of gas. i have changed fuel filter, pump, pickupscreen & maf sensor put vacuum gauge on shows no leaks no obstructions good timming. Just had motor rebuilt trans rebuilt. motor has 20,000 miles trans has 12,000 got to much $ in it to get rid of it any suggestions on what to do next also put fuel pressure gauge on it said was getting 32 psi at idle cant tell with rpms up it dies did koeo test only got 111 stored codes 211 334 koer got 111 stored 225 & 311. Any ideas?

Codes:
111 - All systems OK
211 - PIP signal
334 - Electronic vacuum regulator
225 - Knock sensor
311 - Pulse air/thermactar air system faulty
These may or not be the wrong codes, just pulled them off this page:
EEC-IV Diagnostic Trouble Codes - Diagnose problems in your Ford
I'd go after PIP first.

To add a little more info....if you did not snap the throttle hard enough you can get Code 225. Even if you are under 6,000 ft. elevation.
Cut from my Ford Manual:
DTC 225 indicates the Knock Sensor (KS) signal to the PCM was not sensed during the Dynamic Response Test in the Key On Engine Running Self-Test.
At altitudes of 6,000 ft and higher, the test may fail. If that happens, repeat the Goose Test several times. If DTC does not clear, proceed with this Pinpoint Test.
The engine will run fine without the Knock Sensor connected.
Code 211 indicates the PIP signal is erratic, that can definitely cause driveability issues.
What was the fuel pressure when trying to accelerate? 32 PSI KOER at idle is fine, but it should go to 40-45 when the engine is under load/low vacuum conditions.

Just curious as to what you did to fix the distributor problem. Replaced the entire distributor or just the faulty bearings?
