Tablet Deals for those wanting Torque Pro

I frequent deal sites and found that Woot has some deals on Samsung tablets for those looking for a table option.

Samsung Tablets

The Tab 3 7" is a great option and with GSM you can sigh up for wireless plan and have connectivity anywhere you might need. I like Samsung because they tend to have good support and by default have Bluetooth.

I run a Samsung tablet (Note 8") and it works GREAT! Just wanted to pass along some deals for those who might be looking.

Yes! It has bluetooth, and the option for CDMA cellular data. The build quality is nice and the price is right.

I started with a larger 10" tablet. Way too big for me but worked great for my 67 year old dad.

I now use a 8" that I bought used. Been very happy!

Sounds good, think I'm going to pull the trigger on this. I just hope it will fit around the F-650 dash, CB, and train horn valve. Will see. Thanks for the info.

This is how I have it mounted... I'm using the driver seat hold down bolt. The link below is for the larger 10" tablets. Look for the smaller option for a 7" version.

I like those color-matched USB ports. Did you get 'em and paint 'em?

Tugly,

The Pioneer radio allows for two USB connections and an "Aux" input for audio only. It makes no sense for me to have them where I can't reach them so I ordered some pass-through ports and mounted them in the front bezel. I painted them to match using the same custom matched paint I used for the F650 dash.

The radio has "App Radio" and works with both Android and Apple products allowing your data to be pushed through the head unit. The radio also has Blue Tooth so I can call and listen through my radio.

I order all the small parts through MarkerTek...

Technology got smaller.... I have a laptop mount, but when a tablet has just as much power, I can't justify the install.

These modern portable devices really kick bytes. I have an i7 with 8G of RAM - but all the security makes web surfing like using a surfboard on the leading edge of a glacier. Yes, I have that stupid Chrome - fat good that does me when I want to post a picture in my thread... and it's still slow to load pages. If I wan't the web to scream to the screen - it's the modern portable device that steps up (given 802.11n and broadband).
