Did swamps think they could repair your IDM, or are you looking for another one.
I didn't want to throw parts at my truck, but because I need my truck to make money, I figured I'd lose more money with it not running than spending it on parts. $500 later it's running. And we all learned something.

I still need to do uppipe donuts or bellowed upgrade. I wanna do a riffraff wheel and maybe a blank pedestal and outlet (or van turbo). Just get some supporting mods done before I start doing major upgrades.

The idm can be rebuilt, I went with the upgraded version. IIRC they should have it rebuilt by Tuesday and 4 day shipping back. Keep us posted on your upgrade progress (in a new thread).

So now the darn truck is stalling when I come to a stop....
What the heck.
I slow down and when I'm almost stopped, the engine will go quiet and then stall. Starts back up afterwards, sometimes it takes longer to crank. I'm going to pull the IDM and see if it's wet inside.
I gotta look up and see how much swamps charges to check out an IDM. I'm going to go to junkyard and get one out of a truck, but it says on windshield, "cranks but no start". May be worth getting checked out.

I just can't win with this truck. this weekend the belt decided to shred and ride up on the ac pulley and ruined the plug on the ac compressor and almost cut through my upper radiator hose.

New
CPS
ICP
IPR

ICP plug had a little oil in it but I cleaned it up with carb cleaner.
Hpop reservoir is full. Fuel pressure stays above 35psi

I have not yet taken valve covers off. I'm waiting for low to mid 30s (or higher) before I start that project. I don't think that's anything to do with stalling though.

Hmmm.....fuel pressure? IIRC stock pressure should be about 56 psi.

Stays above 35 when I'm demanding power. Idle fuel pressure is a little low at around 46-48. I was thinking about shimming the spring, but under full throttle it doesn't get below 35psi. I don't think that's the issue.

I agree with you - but this issue needs to be addressed before moving on IMO.

ICP sensor is new from ford. So unless the plug is damaged it should be fine.
New regulator as well.

I'm saving up for the riffraff frx, so I'm not messing with shimming the regulator and worry about it leaking with an old oring. I do agree it should be more fuel pressure, but it's got a new fuel filter, and the old one wasn't black from leaking injector orings. Very happy about that.

I thought it may have been the ebpv but I unhooked and wired that open.

I can't remember, do you have A&E or something to watch the ICP, ICP DC, voltage, rpm's , etc....?

Also, have you individually checked your batteries or voltage while at idle?

I don't have AE... I should though with 6 psd trucks and a fleet of other fords.
Alt is fine. Batteries are not that old. They have a 2014 sticker on them. Voltage must be ok because my headlights don't dim at night before it stalls. I haven't checked exact voltage though.
