I can relate to the OPs post. I recall when I got my '15, I had to roll the window down to know it was running. Now under light to moderate acceleration I can hear what sounds like valves rattling or a typewriter. I drove an old first gen cummins before this so I didn't really think anything of it because diesels are loud, but reading the anomalies between trucks makes me curious to see what comes of it. subscribing.

You need to take your truck to a different dealership. I drive for a major dealership near Ft. Worth,Tx and deliver(many) ford trucks to the gas and oil service companies all over Texas and New Mexico. I have yet to experience the issue you are having. Occasionally
a check engine light or an unbalanced tire gets my attention, usually easy to correct. Over all the 2015 6.7 is quieter than the earlier 6.7. Good luck. PS I own a 2015 6.7 and recently sold 2011 6.7(many trouble free mile).

My 2015 runs great, quiet and smooth. It is the first diesel I have ever had and I was expecting a louder, rougher truck. I am pleasantly surprised, but don't have many miles on it so far.
The dealer gave me a bottle of cetane booster with the truck and I have used it since I bought the truck new. I cannot believe it will help that much, but give it a try. It is a relatively inexpensive test.
I wish you good luck. I know how it is to spend a lot to not get what you want.

Well, mine was sounding a little noisy, I put it up to winter fuel and winter in general. Although, we've only had maybe a week of freezing weather. I added some PS cetane booster for the first time this last fill up and it's sounding as quiet as when I drove it off the the lot. So, if I'm close to correct, I'm expecting even better once summer shows up.
