14,8xx as of today. 5star tuned since 11k, and when its not taking my 10 year old to and from school, its pulling a boat, camper, etc. Averaging 12.2 mpg around town- no mechanical issues (knock on wood - thank God). just normal oil changes, and standard maintenance. Very happy with the performance and the quality.

I just got my 2011 F250 last month with 106K miles.
The previous owner bought it new in California and traveled back and forth cross country, so it was all highway miles.
I took it on a 83 mile road trip yesterday and got 17.2 mpg. ( hand calculated numbers--the dash said 18.4 )
So far, so good.
Anxious to see how it will pull my 8,000 lb. 24 ft. enclosed to the track.

The first time I drove it I did not believe the dash mpg readout.
So my curiousity got the best of me so I had to find out what the truck would do in normal driving ( non-interstate).
So I spent $ 10.00 in gas to find out.
Now I know what it does, and the test backed up what I saw on the dash.
I am fearful of changing the original, 106K mile spark plugs because it runs so well.

Just curious...
When the t-stat went bad, how did you know ? Did you see the water temp gauge go up or was there a dash warning ?
I wonder if these trucks are programmed to lower the engine output if the temp goes above a certain temperature ?

With 33K miles, I would have thought it would be under warranty...or was it past the 36 month period ?
Just curious...

Took it into dealer, says I don't want to warranty it because it's within spec 184 degrees and they might not get paid from Ford. Took it too them twice, ended up going to napa and getting a thermostat, took me a little over 15 minutes to change due to trying to find a clean bucket for coolant, other wise could have done it in less than 10.
Nice to see 191 water temp huge heat register difference from 184 degrees. Need to turn down the heat a lot now. Just how I like it. Funny did the same thing to my 2006 diesel except that was out of warranty.

I had two ways to tell me. Since it was winter below 30 degrees it was easy to tell. First way it felt like I was driving a Chevrolet caprice. Heater on high for a twenty mile trip to town, and couldn't even defrost the entire windshield. Second way is a Scanguage that told me that 174 degree water temp does not make a warm toasty cab, neither does 184 degree temp.
