How did PayPal rip you off?

I've been with them for quite a while now and never ever had an issue with them, paying or receiving.

I'm pretty sure FTE has a secure link to receive CC or debit card payments.

Back when the Canadian dollar was trading at about $1.10 US I purchased some things through eBay using PayPal. They converted it at $.92 vs the US$ costing me almost $.20 for every dollar I spent. They are crooks and since then I will never use their services again.

I've never bought with another currency through paypal before. I wonder if they have a conversion rate fee?
