Afternoon All!

Honda is in the "waiting bay" so the paint can cure enough to buff it out. The Aveo is awaiting pick up and the Caddy is on it's way to the shop.

I did get the dash fitted and welded in to the C-cab this morning also. (I went to work early for some reason) I need to keep making progress on that thing.

The only thing I've accomplished today is to waste 1/2 a tank of gas. That's all I want to say about that.

Gads - I hope the rest of the week & weekend gets better than this...

Caddy is a wet sand away from getting some color on the bumper covers. I may do some welding on the Thunderstang tomorrow before I shut the shop down with fresh paint drying .

Isn't that the transfer case that the truck has to be rolling while you shift it into 4 hi or 4 lo? And then be in reverse to get it out of either?

Um... yes...

Jesse found them under the dining room table after I wasted an entire day in Springfield attempting (and failing) to find a reasonably priced replacement pair.

How they got under the table I can't imagine, but I suspect they were helped by a certain four legged furry friend of mine...

Lee, it shifts almost too easy. Almost like there's no detents. Hard shifting isn't the issue.

Oh ok.
It was just a thought. It took me awhile to figure out how to shift mine.
Ford couldn't make it easy like both my Jeeps and both my Chevys.

good morning Missouri.. shifting too easy is better than shifting too hard.. if you want hard to shift you should drive my ford courier.. it has been in 4low so long not even a stout kick will get it out.... good thing I never use it on the road anymore..

Good Morning Everybody!

I'm gonna do some cutting, grinding and welding before I paint the Caddy today. I need to get back on the '73 and get the cab mounts and wheel wells in it so I can start on the bodywork, too. Time's running out to get everything done. ....and I STILL need to get Tiff's Impala in the shop for paint. .....and RC's stuff. ....and get up to Rich's place for some color sand and buff action on red. ........and replace the floors in Alice. .........and get the new chassis started for EQ IV. .......and, ...and....
