There is a big difference, but looks to have plenty of meat left? I'll have you look at it some time.

Just in for lunch. The Aveo is now outside awaiting my niece's decision on what to do next. I went over to another car lot today and set up a timing chain for them. Then I went and got Alice a bath. She looks much better now.

I need to get back on the Honda but my back is starting to give out. It's gonna be a rough week, I have a feeling.

Evening All!

Well, I didn't get the Honda painted, but another coat or two of primer and it'll be ready for paint. Good thing tomorrow is going to be a short day in the shop. We have to run around and get Tiff's new car switched around. We already put insurance on it, but have to transfer the tags, title, etc.

Hope YOU are ok Jeff? Most everything is fixable with friends like Alan.

Insp the heck out of that rim and worse case run it on the back, I would rather loose a back wheel, than a front. Maybe there is a rim place that can repair and straighten it?

I think the possible "BIG sale" is on the horizon.....start saving $ folks.

Well, Jeff is ok, but if that was me, I'd be on the 6 O'clock news. If that was Alice, I'd be in prison.

Jeff has an amazing amount of self control.

I asked for a flatbed.....they sent him....they had it loaded by the time I got home.....I thought, what could go wrong?.....everything did go wrong....the owner promised me double compensation for damages plus whatever I needed....he also has a collection of 79 ford trucks and parts in Boliver and has several beds....
Alan, I've worked for the government too long.....patience is what I have to do all the time..lol I think I may come out pretty good with another bed and repair this one.

In this case having my open carry sidearm might have worked for me.

It was concealed until I was freaking out after the mishap...then I felt it not concealed... So I left it that way

Who is the idiot tow truck drive that loaded and secured that? Damn dude, I bet when the tires contacted the pavement, that it trashed the trans......

You asked for a flat bed, and got that... I would still be on the news.

If it is "Affordable Towing" and Dennis Clev**** is the owners name. BE FOREWARNED HE IS A LYING SCUMBAG, POS, CHEAT, CROOK, DID I SAY POS? You will get some kind of "DOUBLE"....but it will not be compensation....more like doubled over.

DOT YOUR EYES CROSS YOUR T 'S, GET EVERY THING AND ALL THAT IS PROMISED IN WRITING. Do not take a check from him, do take a hand shake for nothing. Do not believe anything he says, or promises.

His body shop in Springfield s*** too! Ray Charles and Helen Keller could do a better job. I had a run in with him over repairing/repair's made to my mom'e mini van after a deer accident a quite a while back, and got BS'ed ALL THE WAY. Yes he has a small JY in Bolivar, right off 13 Hwy on the east side, the 1st Bolivar exit. I use to go shop there for parts, he does not have a ton of Ford trucks.

On a side note, you made my "wrecked" folder.

Oh, its not wrecked lol, just dented upward lol. I expected to see fuel coming out of a trashed tank!

The trans was in neutral, transfer case was in neutral , no driveshafts were turning....so I'm hopeful

It was. They did an excellent job bringing the caddy back from Branson on a flatbed. Their record with the bbb was good too with clients saying the owner went above and beyond on his treatment of issues. I'm hoping to get another bed for Ol big red out of the deal and maybe more.
