No blue, orange green or any other color. I'm going back to Ford red and sticking with that. I had great luck with all the other engines I painted red and I got away from that. No more engines that aren't red. Ford red engines (regardless of manufacturer) seem to hold up. If I paint an engine any other color (regardless of manufacturer) I inevitably have to pull the dang thing back out and fix something inside of it.

Pink and a Kia go hand in hand...lol Maybe some lavender for a Cougar? The more you pick on me about it the more work for Alan and he is busy enough.
Alan what would it take to buff if back to bright red? Like we are not busty enough, hell the red truck is not back finished and back together yet.....let alone wet sanded, someday?

Red comes back pretty easily. About 4 hours and some compound and we can have it the correct color again.
I had a hell of a day. I went to go put the king pins in the '73. I was about 3/4 of the way done with the driver's side before I realized they put oversized pins in the wrong box. I couldn't figure out why the dang things wouldn't go back in the I beam. I have to take the suspension completely out of the truck, mill the I-beam out, press the spindle back together, then put it all back together. It took EIGHT FRIGGIN' HOURS to do one side. ....but that side has ZERO play in it. Tensions were running pretty high. I just about gave myself coronary
Tomorrow is Earthquake engine day. I'm gonna put off the other side of the '73 for a few days. .
