Mine are lined up. Must not have been assembled on a Monday or a Friday. LOL

 

My drivers side cab was about 3/8" low.
They shimmed the cab with two galvanized washers in about 5 minutes and now it's perfect.
I think this issue mostly effects supercabs.
**** POOR quality control.

 

Thought some more about it and now am getting more annoyed.

Being that the passenger side body lines and bed side to door are all lined up correctly, when I loosen the bed bolts and try to get the driver side to line up, it is going to throw the passenger side off.

The only way I can see getting the driver side to line up is by leaving the passenger side bolts tight, loosening the drivers side and trying to "stretch" the bed side.

I could also swear that this was not like it now is on day 1. I am 99.9% sure I would have picked up on it while either waxing or towing a trailer by seeing it in the mirror. I noticed the current position while looking in the side mirror to check a load of flooring (maybe 600lbs) in the bed.

Absolutely ridiculous.

You mean the bed was low (not vertically aligned) or the truck sat lower on the driver side? Mine and many others have noticed the driver side does indeed sit lower.

However, my bed is lined up (body line wise), but is a good 1/2"-3/4" out of alignment, panel wise. (cab to bed)

I understand that your cab was low, but that is not my (the OP) trucks issue and what you think the photo's show is not is reality. My body lines (vertical) are close to perfect, it is the left to right (horizontal) that is way off.

 

I have a '15 as well and while the body lines are spot on, it appears to me that the bed itself is narrower outside edge to outside edge than the cab. If I were to put a straightedge on the cab there is about a 3/16" gap between the straightedge and the bed on both sides.

 

I would be OK with that if the gap is the same on both sides. What I can't understand is how they got one side correct and the other is at least a 1/2" off. So in reality if I move mine, it would be like yours.

 

***QUESTION***

If I remove my bedliner to expose the bed bolt heads, and I loosen all the bolts a little, will the bed then have any side to side play?

In other words, are the holes precise or are the somewhat oversized?

 

There is a little room for movement.. Not much, but enough to tell a difference from the side.
