2014 F350 yay or nay?

2014 F350 FX4 Lariat LOADED 6.2L gasser

Asking $45500, I offered $45500 out the door which was declined. Only issue its on a Nissan lot where I'd rather a Ford deal but warranty still good. Looking for a commuter/light work/towing truck.

Advice?

I payed a little less than that for my 2015 Ford F350 XLT. Brand New. The new lariats are at about 50,000-56,000

I think closer to 40K and an extended warranty as well.

I wouldn't go any higher than what you offered. With rebates right now you could get a new 2014 for not much more than that. How many miles on it? I'd walk, let it sit for a few weeks, and they may be more willing to deal. Mines a 2013 XLT and I paid 38K new. The Lariats should go for $5-6k over the XLT. Good luck.

If it's very low miles, and immaculate inside and out,

Go back in next week and offer them 42k. Tell them if they decline that one, you'll come back in another week and offer 40k. Turn it against them. There are tons of used trucks on the market. Don't get fixated on a single vehicle.

The OP forgot to mention one of the most important factors that affects price. How many miles? There are 2014s out there pushing 100,000 miles. A truck with that many miles certainly ain't worth $45K!
