Tries to Stall from Stop

Tries to Stall from Stop
1991 F150 i6 4.9L
THE ISSUES
Be it when first starting up and leaving the driveway or taking off from a stop sign, the truck acts as if it wants to stall but a little pumping on the gas pedal gets it going. It also seems like it lacks power when going up steep hills. It does NOT try to stall when driving.
This was an issue PRIOR to the most recent work.
RECENT WORK
Resolved the ignition issues and truck starts up without issue or hesitation. Replaced Ignition Coil, Cap & Rotor, Distributor and ICM wire harness. ICM tested good at AutoZone. Also replaced the fuel filter.
PAST WORK
Front fuel pump replaced about 4 years ago. Full Tune-up 1 year ago.
KNOWN CURRENT ISSUES (Related?)
Rear fuel pump not working, Gas gauge for front fuel pump stuck at "over" full, rear tank displays correctly, Front fuel tank only takes a few gallons at a time.
THOUGHTS, PLANS AND IDEAS
This weekend I plan to toy around with the timing as maybe I didn't get it good enough when the distributor was installed (AutoZone doesn't loan out timing lights and did it the old fashioned way). So thinking this may be part of the issue.
I also plan to check the spark plugs this weekend and make sure they are in good condition and the gaps are right. Wires seemed to be fine when I checked last weekend.
Also thought maybe it could be a fuel pressure issue???
Anywhere else I should start investigating? And please remember my knowledge is limited to a Haynes manual lol
Thanks in advance!
