No worries, I wasn't offended. I thought it was funny........I hope the wheel look better once I get a chance to clean them.

No the wheels aren't painted just dirty....LOL It is supposed to rain here so I will post more pics when she has had a bath. JuanHuevos Welcome! Looks like our trucks are twins! What's your build month? I don't know where to find the build month. I will let you know as soon as I can find it though.

claybar for the paint. When done right using fresh clay and lots of detailing spray it makes your truck finish glassy smooth. Follow up with fresh coat of wax. Its a LOT of work on an Ex. I did mine once and it took two days to clay and wax it. That was middle of summer though and it was hot. I once got a groupon for a full hand clay job and wax job from Splash carwash. It was 50 bucks. Well worth it with the excursion though. Those guys probably were not very happy when I pulled in. On a side note after my last clay job, the little cracks in my hoods clearcoat amplified and I can really see them now... dang.

OK I checked the door sticker and she was born on 11/99.
I have a couple of questions. How hard is it to replace the o rings in the fuel bowl? I have a small drip and I want to fix it.
how hard is it to replace the bulbs for the instrumentation on the dash?
only the passenger side window wash works, how do I fix that?
Thanks for all the help.

Update
Sorry it has been so long for an update. I had jury duty and I am on a trial.....don't know how long it will last. So my free time is very limited as I still have to keep up with the honey do list. I am still thinking about removing the cladding but the girlfriend likes it so......we will see. Went to wash her and I am shocked at how much dirt is on her. I got most of the way done with the front from the front doors forward and I was out there for about 2 and 1/2 hours. I had to pack it in because the sun was going down. I think I am going to take it to a car wash place and let them be sore the next day....lol.
I am thinking about getting a bug shield for the front, and suggestions on which brand is best? any I should avoid?
Thanks for all the help. Driving the excursion is awesome!

update and question
I did the front and rear brakes and now I have the brake light on the dash lit up. When I did the brakes the rear brakes were at about 5%. I noticed that the brake fluid was above the max line could this make the brake light stay on? or is it something to do with my e brake? Thanks for any and all help.

Service engine soon isnt for an oil change. Have to get the codes read and see what it was. seller probably reset it right when you bought it and it just now reset the code. Unfortunate common practice in used cars. On the newer ones you can hook up and see how many miles its been since DTC reset. That is an indication that they are hiding something from you. On the Excursion, the best indicator would be the monitors not complete as mine doesn't report miles since reset.
