For two days I had an odd scraping noise on the right side when I would stop and again when I would start back up looked at the rotors- nothing but damn cold hands tried to find something dragging nope.So the next day my daughter was sitting in the passenger seat and pulled a old plastic coffee cup lid out the door pocket, no more noise two days wasted and worried for nothing

 

The lid was rolling back and forth in the pocket? Too funny, well now that you found it and are looking back it I suppose it's funny.

 

yes it would stop sometimes presumably when it would stop on the sip hole so the noise would come and go drove me nuts

 

Back in high school when we wanted to aggravate someone one thing we would do is hide a ball bearing in the spare tire well in the trunk. The other thing was to wrap a couple of tie wraps around their drive shaft and leave a long tail that would go whap whap whap as they drove.
