I am toying with the idea of doing a tripple carb install on a 300 six I am rebuilding and any advice and part suggestions would be appreciated!

 

The Frenchtown Flyer once showed photos of a three carburetor set-up made from the center portions of 3 stock "log" intake manifolds, with balance tubes connecting them.

I have been able to track down some other pics of different tri-power setups. PM me if you'd like more pics.

 

Here's another possibility - use the lower half of an EFI intake and fabricate whatever top you want to use for , one, two, or more carbs. I have even made plenum boxes from hardwood coated in epoxy resin. Good luck and don't be afraid to fail.

I know this is an old thread but wanted to add to the sweetness...




Not sure if this is going to happen, but may do efi with it...2.3 Mustang throttle bodies. Would make a plate for the tb's and injectors so the intake remains as cast.
