maybe I missed it but I don't see this on my wire diagram. it's attached to the dash support above the pedals. anyone know what it's for?

 

Looks like the cruise control box.

 

I though and hoped for a intermittent wiper control box when I first seen it and then someone suggested a cruise control. But I have seen another thread that asked the same question and some one ran the #'s and it is some sort of emissions control box of some sort.
