Cps will cause a no start but it won't cause the wts light to come on.

what about if the CPS was no working completely? or someone even mentioned the IPR may be loose or bad and cause it to do that, is this true?

The fact that the WTS light is coming on means that the PCM is losing power and rebooting just like it would if you turned the key off and back on. The CPS won't cause that. I bad or loose fitting chip, on the other hand CAN cause the PCM to reboot.

Replace the CPS if you want to, but I don't think that's going to solve your issue. If this truck is chipped, then first thing you need to do is pull that chip out of it and see if it still has this issue.

Update: I took the ECM out and looked at my chip, looked a little loose but not enough to really tell though. But I blew it out and plugged it back in and it started up. Also I noticed my ignition is loose when I turn the key, I can shake it pretty good. Someone mentioned that a loose ignition can make it do it as well.

If it were me I would run it without the chip just to see if the is the problem. If it fixes it then bobs your uncle. If not then you know that's not the problem.

Ohhh, I'm not telling him to do anything. I'm just telling him what I would do.
