Can an axle shaft be straightened?

Can an axle shaft be straightened?
I just bought a 1964 f-100 4x4 and I discovered that one of the axle shafts for the front end is bent Its not useable as is and I have hunted these axle shafts before and can up empty. Let me know what you think.
