Why do pretty much all 4WD trucks have torsion bar front suspension?
I've wondered this for awhile. I noticed that for the last decade-plus, every 4WD IFS full size truck has had torsion bar front suspension.
What's the advantage? Weight, durability? Less complex? Is it too hard to make coil springs work correctly on 4WD IFS?
