I did a quick search and found this silver metallic interior and trim paint but its only in an rattle can.
Silver Metallic Interior and Trim Paint Aero 11oz
I probably will use this for mine, spray a little in a old aerosol cap and brush it on lightly. But only if I cant find a quart of something.

On the silver paint, I wanted to ask how glossy was it? Was it a matte silver, semi gloss silver, or a gloss silver?
Its hard to tail on mine as its all aged and flat looking. I was looking at the paint posted in the link above but the problem is I don't really like spraying aerosol paint into a old cap and brush it on if I can avoid it. I see Eastwood has Aluma blast in brushable quart cans but it really isn't that glossy since it duplicates bare aluminum.

I used Testors Chrome silver on my Mercury, came out great but after a couple weeks it started to dull to a plain gray color from the sun. I will be trying some automotive paints on a wood grain radio bezel I got for a customer at work that hasn't paid me for it. I will be trying how ever Krylon Silver Metallic spraypaint, will spray it in the cap and use one of my detail brushes to apply it and see how it comes out.
I got some silver sharpies here, I will give them a try as well to see how they come out on my test piece I will be using. I also need to order some of that metallic silver pinstripers paint in a pint can to try that out.

I used a sharpie just now on my test piece, the sharpie gave more control and the only difference between the paint and this is the gloss. But they do make glossy sharpies I will be checking at the store if I can find a silver metallic in a gloss that will shine like the paint.
