anyone install a power cowl vent

does it work, how hard was it to install and where did you get the kit from?

Got mine off ebay,had someone else install,but looked pretty straight forward with mechanical knowledge. It works but doesn't open all the way up for me,I think this is do to them not installing it properly. It's really slow, but secure when shut all the way. I like it,but it's not really needed. The manual is faster and easier. Hope this helped,L8R ZFLASH

I did mine several years ago, if I did it you can for sure. Be sure to get one that is up and down, not cycling thru. Mine came from Midfifty I am sure. I love having a cowl vent along with my Vintage Air. Great for cool days and hot days.

thanks guys, I'm looking to make room for vintage air so I wanted to make sure it was the right way to go.

I've toyed with the idea if only to get the cowl vent handle out of the middle of the under-dash area.
