Quite a few dealers don't rebuild in house. They contract with a local trans builder to do their rebuilds. The dealer just does the R&R.

They are definitely rebuilding it in house, and still waiting on parts supposedly on back order. When I asked the service advisor what parts went bad, he was like I don't know. Wtf, why cant they be honest and say yeah bro we're stalling your job for the cash customers that aren't having warrenty work done. I swear I found a used trans out of an "11 42,000 miles for $650.00. I could of swapped that in my driveway 2 weeks ago.. And would of been happier! I've lost business... Never thought I would be in this situation. Will think twice about having one vehicle that can tow, and definitely think twice about my next purchase.

I don't understand why they won't give you a loaner. A buddy has a 2012 E150 and it took the dealer 6 weeks to fix a problem and they gave him an almost new van as a loaner.

I would even be happy with one of there used trucks on the pre owned lot as a loaner. They have an entire parking lot of them.

It sounds like it's time for me to step in and help, cali108. PM me your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership; I'll escalate this to your regional customer service manager.

Crystal

Now, the dealer is saying the parts are not on back order, so where are they? I'm not lying! that's what they told me, and honestly I would believe it! How in the continental USA that you cannot get parts within 2 weeks? They should of replaced it, and not repair...

Ah.......Yea.........I agree.........still don't look real good on the Dealers side.....

You don't think it had anything to do with Miss. Crystal stepping in on this.......do you???

If it does, then this might be a good thing for other's that Have to deal with the Dealers over Warranty work

I've been watching this tread, It's been what, over 2 weeks for this item??

I can understand your lost of business over this too, I've been there on getting repairs done, but Not through a dealer.

I hope you have another, better, Ford dealer in your area for your next van purchase.

That's exactly what I'm here to do, Wildman25. I'm always just a PM away if you (or others) need assistance.
