HELP MAJOR DILEMMA 94f250 supercab

Hey everyone, I recently bought an alpine cde 152 for my truck From crutchfield.com as well as Polk audio speakers. I chose the hu for its six channel output. Went to wire it in and the rca cables hit the heater tubes for the vents or defrost. Can't believe I'm the first person to have this issue in the past. Not new to radio's in any way but idk what to do here guys. I can't get the receiver to go in all the way. Crutchfields solution was to use one with a different side rca panel. The only two choices of brands that run on the side needed are Pioneer and Sony. Hope there's a solution besides switching brands. Really love alpine

Crutchfield is very helpful and willing to send me a new one before sending back the alpine even, was very surprised with that. I just would prefer making what I have work. I'm making a custom box to go in the center of the back seat. Will be an alpine type r twelve inch figure one will be plenty don't want to take up the extra space using both that I have. Any input is greatly appreciated. Want to make a decision asap. Haven't heard anything good on Sony hu in the last eight or so years and Pioneer I've always seen as cheap. You get what you pay for I know they make good shot to but Wal-Mart special **** I'd never buy. Thanks every body

I have a Pioneer in my 03 F350 and really love it. I bought it from Crutchfield about 5 years ago. Sounds quality is amazing. And it has 6 RCA outputs. I actually started with an Alpine, but when I installed it, the sound quality was sub-par. I have owned many Alpines in my day, and this was the first one that was disappointing. So Crutchfield promptly sent me the Pioneer before I sent the Alpine back and I havent looked back. It has Bluetooth, 5 band graphic EQ and built in crossover. I also have a JL Audio 4 channel amp, a Kenwood 2 channel bridged, Rockford Fosgate seperates in the front doors and Fosgate 6X8s in the back. I have 1 Fosgate 10 behind the rear seat and they all sound amazing.

You really dont wanna cut up your dash. Give Pioneer a chance.

BTW, I agree with you on the Sony thing.

Get the adapters. I just put a pioneer unit in a 93 F150. I had to make the power wires go under the unit to get it in all the way. I will not change from my Alpine 9887 till it's worn out. It sounds great & has the 3 way crossover I need to run my Morel tweeters , Exodus Audio Anarchy 6.5 Mids & sub
