Looking for a 90's 302

Hey guys..
I need to see if anybody on here has a good used 5.0 for sale?
Mine is tapping and has low compression in #6 so i figured find a good used motor.
So if you have one please let me know, income money coming soon, and have to keep this truck running.
P.S for the small amount of people who remember me, I no longer have the 79.
I traded if for the 92 I have now.

I think I need to start keeping running small blocks in stock. You're the third person this week that's asked for one.

I don't know where any are. I sold the ones I had.

I have a 90's ish? 5.0 with 147,000 on it. It is a VERY COMPLETE EFI motor with all the wiring, and clutch ect...I can call the PO and get the exact year of the truck.

I have NOT heard it run, but I got a "word" and hand shake guarantee with it. I know the guy I got it from pretty well. He bought the truck and then scrapped it due to a lack of title from the PO.

Pm me with a offer, and I am close to you.

Unfortunatly finding a low milage 90's era engine is going to be a rarity.
I lucked out finding the 5.8 for my 93 being rebuilt 58,000 miles earlier.
I doubt I even have another 1000 miles on it since it was installed.

Yeah 200k is a bit high for me.
Got to call some salvage yards on monday to check inventory.
Rich as soon as I can make it up there, I want to check out your motor.
I'm having transportation issues right now.
The 5.0 in the truck is knocking real hard now, and to add to it, I took my car to get it's water pump changed and the mechanic may of screwed something up. It's running warmer than normal and the pump is leaking at the block, so I had to borrow a friend's truck to get around.

I would never thought it would be this hard locating a motor.

No hurries I have been pretty busy myself, and the rest of this week is booked. Just call when you can get a ride figured out. That motor I have will be right there.

Sounds like the car needs to go right back to the mechanic....

I would not run/drive the truck to keep the motors internal damage to a minimum, you might want to keep it as a rebuildable spare?

Here you go: cheap and you can hear it run and get the rest of the truck http://springfield.craigslist.org/cto/4875799363.html
