P0022 code

OK I really need some help with this please I have a 2004 FX4 5.4 3v 120000 miles that has recently stated idleing rough when coming off acceleration ( coming to a stop sign or backing up) only occurs when the truck is fully warmed up. The only fault I can pull is a p0022 and it only gets logged a minute or 2 after the rough idleing. fuel pressure 40psi compression 115 psi all cylinders(dry) roughly 150 psi (wet) new oil pump and pickup tube new timing set 2 new phasers 2 cam sensors 2 Vct's 1 maf 24 lifters all cam followers were good new air fuel and oil filters throttle body has been cleaned and all 4 o2 sensors have been replaced engine was actually very clean no sludge running 5-20 val syn oil the only abnormality I can find with solus scanner is that it shows Vctadv 2 degrees to be 45.06 and the Vctadverr2 is -49.62 while the same readings on bank 1are hovering around 0 throttle up and everything smooths out purrs like a kitty until the next deceleration. To my understanding the Vct solenoid is controlled via Pwm, with that being said I need clarification on which state it should be in at hot idle 0 duty cycle or full duty cycle and what a measurement threshold for the VctS are. So any suggestions info clarification or ideas that I have not looked at yet would be greatly appreciated thanks!

@ Shrapnell1, I'm no expert on this (or much of anything else for that matter), but also having an '04 5.4L 3v (with + 200k now) I've sorted through several issues. I have found this site

P0022 - Check Engine Light Diagnostic Trouble Code Description

to be helpful many times. I looked up your code and the descriptions seemed to support the readings you mention. Perhaps this will help.

Good luck
