If it's doin that when your dimming, replace your headlight switch asap... Unless you like fire hazards.

Something went wrong but what you are describing shouldn't have anything to do with the cluster and leds.

I took the switch out when I had the cluster off and the plug and whatnot look great (no melting or anything)

Would the headlight switch cause the passenger window to not roll down? Or to have hardly any light or of the some light? And the gauges to not function

Like in the cluster? Or a wire that runs to the back of the cluster or headlight switch?

Starter clicks or fender-mounted solenoid just clicks?

Sounds like a bad ground.

Everything worked before I took the cluster out.. Where's the grounds located around the cluster?

the ground for the cluster I believe is located under the hood, passenger side cowl. Can't miss it next to the hinge lift for the hood.

The other ground is located near the battery, another located right of radiator, driver side core support, next is by the EEC diagnostic connector.

The following are ground strap areas. One located down under the frame , core support to frame, passenger side, another one just at passenger door under truck of the door.

Ground "H" is the Instrument Cluster ground. It is located "Behind Bottom of Right Cowl Panel"

I believe that "Right" refers to passenger side. I have looked in the past and haven't found this on the driver side.
