I'll have to check with my dad, he had it done while I was stationed at Ft Bragg.
Granted it wasn't behind a powerhouse but it hit pretty hard when I got it back. The other is out of a car I parted out, think its a tci or something.

I know I asked for a $2K option but would this do what I need in the F-100 but with more HP/TQ?
A lil bit. I believe the 2092 is a better value based on a quick comparison.

If you're really building on a budget then be patient and get good parts used for way less than new.

Craigslist, swap meets, forum classifieds, junkyards and your state chapter probably has a buy/sell/trade thread.

How do you want the engine to perform? Usually building for Torque makes a better all around engine that is more user friendly, if you want high speeds then build for Horsepower.

I have a LOT of crap done to my truck and I doubt I have $2,500 including the purchase price. I'm not cheap, I'm poor.
