this is my second choice, I think. If I can't get the D2 stuff, that is. I hate the clutter of additional wiring and modules.
I've had some trouble coming up with an acceptable remanufactured distributor. A1 doesn't build it apparently (and their remans suck) so all I can find on Rockauto is from a company I haven't heard of.

Back when I worked a parts counter, I always thought it was total crap that A1 would press on the cam gear and just drill a hole where it landed, weakening the main shaft of the distributor to save themselves the hassle of lining it up properly with the original hole.
