hello this is my first post on here i'm looking for any info i can get on 1963 ford f260. here is what i know so far. this is the one i own. all so how many ford f260 were made in 1963

My truck also has these on it. (Where they optionsback in 63)?
The Drum is 8 lugs instead 5.
10 leaf springs in the back, 6 in the front
Factory heater
It has 4 tail lights instead of 2 . 2 right, 2left all are round tail lights. The extra tail lights are different then thefactory ones and look professionally installed.
Also does it having D.S.O # make it rare?

The upper two might be reflectors. Both of my 1966 4x4 trucks have the round taillights below the factory installed reflectors that are also round, but screwed to the surface rather than recessed like the taillights.

Here's a shot from the 1964-1972 MPC showing the reflectors. I went back to the 1957-1963 MPC to see if I could figure out the part numbers for those lower lamps and don't see anything like it. 1961 and up calls out the same reflector and shows it in the same location as my truck. Hadn't seen anything like yours before.

The V-8 hood emblem was swapped in from the original lightning bolt and gears emblem. The V-8 was 1965-66 V-8 only. A nice touch, don't change it unless you want her totally stock, just an FYI. There's a bunch of posts with the same info, but here's a sample I picked out where ND gives the good info, just so you don't think I'm making stuff up. Lol...
