Question Econoline - Rear A/C blowing Hot out floor vents

My rear A/C is not working. It's blowing hot air out of the lower vents when the A/C should be coming out of the upper rear vents.
I had this same problem last year, and they replaced a broken blend door and actuator. The part was under $50 but the labor was huge.
I'd like to fix it myseld this time, but I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO FIND THE BLEND DOOR.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, or to a good book or web page?
Thanks.

any local parts store should have that part and a book to help you should check for vacum first at the rear control

Thanks. I'm checking the parts store for a book after work tonight.

You don't say what year you have. My '87 had the shut off valve to the rear heater allow hot water thru all the time. I replaced it, and problem cured.

oops -- 1997 E350 Super Club Wagon V10 - 15 passenger

I picked up the Haynes Repair Manual, but no help.

Then repair note from last years repair said "Remove rear ac housing assembly to check for vent problem. Replace door and actuator"

I'm thinking it is behind the back left panels, where the rear ac unit is.
