A little update. I did the block test for combustion gasses, none were present so head gasket is ruled out. I did a UV dye leak test for the injector cups, no dye present in the coolant. At this point i decided to just take it for a drive and see what happened. It eventually puked enough coolant to where it felt happy i suppose because it stopped pushing it out, and is cooling just fine. However, where it seems to be happy with the amount of coolant in the system leaves the stand pipe completely empty and then some, which means at this point the cooling system is only filled to (maybe a little less than) half the capacity as a stock system. Although it cools just fine, I believe i should add a stock overflow tank back to the system as it was designed, because something about a 7.3 with half the coolant seems sketchy....
Also, it is still holding some pressure after sitting all night which has me puzzled. Not sure where to look bext for that.

Wow, a '71 with a PSD! I can't wait to see the pics of it! I would put the degas bottle back on it. I think that may fix your problem. Good to see you on here. Don't be such a stranger!

Also the height of the bottle I have a feeling will be important to function.
Otherwise it could let you still not properly achieve proper level.

Here are the pics, as promised. Working in getting a OEM overflow tank and the hoses.

Lariat seats recovered and custom built center console. Houses speakers and amps for the sound system.

Didn't upload a good shot of the gas tank to photo bucket but here you can sort of see it. Used a 22 gallon mustang gas tank and only had to relocate one cross member and trim the bottom frame rail a tad bit for jot to sit perfect.

Relocated shock mounts to accommodate the traction bar mounts.

And of course the money shot. On the list of things to do is do a dual battery tray on the passenger side with the soon to be added overflow tank to make room for a 6637 on the drivers side.

And everything converted to LED's. Makes things much nicer, especially being able to see the road, in the cab, and having taillights you can tell are on!

So what is at the other end of the small hose on the top right side of the radiator?

That goes into the stand pipe.

^^^^ +1. Also, what is at the other end of the small diameter hose (about the same size as a heater hose) that comes out of the tee built into the bottom radiator hose?

The small hose at the top (overflow) goes into the top of the stand pipe through a nipple. The stand pipe ties into the bottom lower radiator hose at the T where the stock reservoir used to go.

Yeah, +1 fordman67; a pic of this standpipe would be helpful. It *SEEMS* to mimic the stock coolant flow by substituting for the degas bottle, but as fm67 mentioned further up, the height of the standpipe may be important.
