The Gemmer 4CC07 is from a F350-F600 I believe. I have not seen one in a f250 yet. It looks very much the same, BUT, when the 3C and 4C are side by side the 4C is a much larger steering box. The 4C is what I will put into a f100 if I'm going to sell it as they are a heavier duty box and make a F100 drive nicer and steer easier as they have a different ratio (worm/sector). I just put a 4C in a 55 f100 a few months back (right before I broke my leg) and it fits so nice only one hole has to be drilled in the frame to make it work. I do not buy 4C boxes.

The 3CC31 boxes are from 57-60 f100s and he also uses them but not the cast iron box itself only the internals.
because he can only use parts of the 3CC31 boxes he only pays $25 plus shipping

Thanks' for the information. My uncle got the gear box along with the cab that came from a fire truck I remember that he had to drill a different hole in the frame because the frame is a F100. When I seen your post about the gear box that made me look at mine and when the part number wasn't the same that made think that I might have a problem, but thanks' to your answer I now feel better about what I have.
