She did not have a current insurance card, I did get pictures of DL,Expired insurance card, registration and license plate + damage, cops never showed up, they told me to just exchange information. So I called my Insurance company and They said that the info I had was enough,So hopefully all will go good.
The good thing is my son and I are okey so is the lady that hit me.

Okay guys....focus. The truck and the damage to it are the issues. The OP edited his opening post so let's leave the rest of it outside on the doorstep so we don't have to close the thread please.

Thanks in advance.

I filed the claim to the insurance, now the waiting game begins.Time to get some estimates, how hard will it be to match the paint,it's the original color, what kind of work should I expect, any advise is appreciated. In the mean while I will hit the J/Y and see if I can find the wheel well trim.

I'm not familiar with you or your truck. What's the overall condition? That damage isn't bad at all, and it could be left alone. Not saying that it doesn't suck, but it's not horribly crunched.

My truck is scratched, dented, creased, folded, but none are really that bad, and the truck still looks really good even up close. But even still, I'm mad every time it gets another scratch or dent from working.

If you leave one dent alone, it only gives you an excuse to leave the second dent. Next thing you know, you're driving a turd. It sucks, but sometimes biting the bullet and getting it fixed is the best way.

It will be difficult to match the paint. Fogging in the repair will be the best bet but the two paints will not fade the same over time. Painting the entire fender would be worse because the contrast in the old and new paint will be more evident.

I consider my truck in fair condition this is what it looks like. One little crease where the fender meets the hood.

Nice 2 tone. It looks to good not to repair. The paint matching will be difficult but atleast it's not a custom color. Troz is right once it starts getting beat up it's easier to just say well that sucks and move on and forget about the newest dent that it got. That's how my daily driver is. I kept it nice but once I got one dent it led to another and another since I started caring less and less about getting them.

Thats what I thought about the paint,I always wanted to primer it with the dark grey primer color, so this is an excuse to start fixing the rust on top of cab, mirror supports and other areas that rust started developing over the years all of this is surface rust.Time to go camouflage look with all the little patches.

I do marble and granite and this is my work truck,I tell my sons and anyone who is working with me open the tailgate nothing goes over the sides of the bed or out, don't reach for tools because belt buckles scratch, so far it works on keeping dents and scratches to the minimum.

2X Mike. He beat me to it. Your Bump is made out of REAL metal not the thin stuff vehicles are made of now-a-days. But a paintless dent repair tech might still be able to "spoon" the dent out. They do amazing work.
