M5OD problems

Alright y'all so I'm back once again with my 95 4.9+M5OD (standard trans) so I've already been having problems getting the truck into first gear, I was told it was my slave cylinder on its way out.. Then Monday morning I get to school tried reversing into my parking spot and even though I had the gear selector in reverse the truck would not move and inch, it acted as if it was in gear (if I let off the clutch completely it'd stall) so I put it in neutral and pushed it... Later that afternoon I went to leave school and it didn't wanna go into first even after I double/triple pumped the clutch so I pulled out in second gear, it went through all the others fine, even overdrive. I pull into my neighborhood, took a turn in second gear going maybe 10-15mph and as I started applying some gas my shifter just dropped and was touching my front seat, as I tried to speed up I let off the clutch and the truck started chugging real hard, it was like it jumped a gear or something. So now I'm gonna pull the trans and see what the hell went wrong, I don't know how to post up pics so if some one can tell me how to post em up that'd be great, I'll answer any questions y'all have/ describe in detail my problems what ever y'all ask I'll answer I'm just gettin this thread out there to get some help from people who know about these m5od's or just some help in general.
Lastly TIA!

Sounds like the the shifter is just screwed up. You can pull the lid off easily, just about a dozen bolts. Just lifts up straight. Not sure if you can't get it into neutral if it might get hung up trying to lift it? Just put mine together, but can't recall that detail. I just made sure it was in neutral and the lid dropped right down. Just had to line up the shift forks with the sliders on the main shaft.

You can buy that ball/socket part, as I'm thinking that is all that is wrong with it. The rest of the shift mechanism/rails in the lid are pretty stout.

Yeah when the shifter dropped I couldn't get it out of the position it was in, I ended up taking off the shifter then I put it back in and had to mess with it, if You want pics of what I think the problem is, PM me your email add.

So here's a thread bump I don't really think I oughtta start a new thread but a couple questions,
How hard is it to find parts for the M5OD?
If I could pick one up would it be an okay idea to swap to a ZF5, will it bolt up to the I6?
Any one here in Texas had to get parts for the M5?

I've seen rebuild kits on eBay. Probably can find companies online that probably sell rebuild kits too.
