Input 6.0 (or similar) multi clutch torque converters?
diesel site has a billet multi clutch TC for $600.
My long term target is 400hp. D66 type turbo.
I already have a BTS valve body installed.
I can get a used Suncoast TC for $500. He swears the solenoids failed, that the TC is clean. Let's assume it is for the sake of this conversation.
I presume the diesel site TC is a 6.0 factory part...
I realize there are a lot more expensive TCs out there, but there are a lot of people making way more power that I am or plan to. Is the diesel site TC (or similar) a worthwhile upgrade for my stock trans?

Most of the 5R110W transmissions I have done, including my own started from a failed solenoid. The solenoids failed due to metal debris in the fluid that came from the converter.
I would not want to install a questionable converter, if the converter is making metal it could take out the pump as well as the solenoids, that will cost way more than your savings.
