New Katzkin Interior!

Ok finally getting my new interior installed today. I chose the Graphite color with Bone stitching. It will have perforated section in the middle inserts I believe is what they said. It will be a bit different but I am excited. Also I am having the front 2 seat heaters installed. Might as well while they are doing it. Their prices are more then fair I think.

I am having a new drivers foam bottom installed as well. Mine is ok, just not as firm as it could be. So I figured that I might as well completely refresh the seat.

My truck has just over 120k miles. Everything else looks and feels brand new. The interior is just letting it down. These grey seats that ford put in these are not the best materials. They stain so easily. I set a cold water cup on the seat and the condensation from that cup left a stain. I have cleaned them several times with my carpet cleaner and they stay clean for just a week or so. Crazy.

Anyway here is the before pics.

A local Katzkin installer called Coach Automotive Restylers here in the KC area is doing the job. They have been around for 15 years or so and I believe they do 20-40 cars a day. This is mainly for dealerships, like car max and main dealers.

Ordering process was easy with them. They just asked me what I wanted and gave me the options and let me know what else I could do if I wanted.

Price is $1549 out the door. $1200 for the leather and $359 for both front seat heaters. Wife really wanted those. The foam pad I got from Ford for $120 I believe. So all in I am out $1670. Fair price in my book. For what you get. It does come with a 3 year 36k mile warranty.

Can't wait to get rid of those worn out seats. Truck looks almost brand new except the interior seats.

Hey thanks! I have to thank the pro's that installed it for sure. I can do a lot of stuff, but interior work is not one of them. Gladly paid to have that done.

Yes it does have that fresh new leather smell too. And at 120K miles it is nice to drive a "new" truck.

WOW! What a difference that makes. Looks very nice just don't forget to put a little conditioner on them once in a while.

Yes for sure. Cleaning and conditioning is the best way to keep them looking like new.

I use Zaino for most all of my car care products. They have the best leather cleaner and conditioner. I have used that on our last few vehicles. My wifes car, a 2010 Maxima and the 2012 Quest. Both with leather. Our maxima had 65k miles on it when we sold it and looked brand new.

Our quest has 35k mile on it and still looks new as well. at least once a month they seats get cleaned with their cleaner and then a treatment with the conditioner. It is amazing how leather responds to that.

Thanks. The difference is awesome. really made my truck feel much newer. And you are so right you must condition leather or it will dry out and crack.

That looks great! A buddy of mine had the katzkin leather seat covers professionally installed in his truck and I can say the fit looks as good in person as it does in your pictures.
