Whoops! I mighta forgot lol.

The interior needs some work. You can tell they "slid" out of the seats when they got out, so the seat bottoms are pretty ratty. Besides that, its in pretty decent shape!

Exactly what I thought it would look like, Mineral Gray Clearcoat Metallic

Just an FYI, your front bumper needs to be pushed up a little as there shouldn't be that much of a gap between the headlights and bumper. You simply loosen the 4 bolts near the tow hooks, have a friend help push it up, and you're good to go.

Iv always thought that was a pretty big gap. And the rear bumper needs pulled out. Im sure that's a little more complicated than loosening 4 bolts lol

Well I decided to get a new coolant filter for my sixer since the previous owner never mentioned it which led me to believe he's never messed with it. I took the old one out an dissected it. Turns out, my thoughts were right. This thing looks like it hasn't been changed in 6 years. Here's some pics:

The last two pics are simply the amount of sand and other trash that collected in the bottom of the filter. I'm not even sure how the filter was moving fluid!

Whew--I think I'd be doing a good flush to be safe. No telling what the heater core and radiator might look like.

Its got Motorcraft Gold in it. The PO even gave me two gallons of coolant and a set of brake pads lol.

A coolant flush will happen sometime lol. Maybe after I get my taxes back. That Gold stuff is expensive!

It's also a "one size fits all" coolant. This is why after a flush, most if not all of us run an ELC (red stuff) that does a better job of standing up to the heat of a Diesel engine.

I myself run Shell Rotella ELC, but there are several different flavors of ELC.

They don't, if they did and were a maintenance item, no one would've ever had EGR and Oil cooler issues.

That makes a lot of sense. I think every diesel should have one, it would save alot of havoc.
