Inform me on the BARO Sensor
Ive heard the baro sensor mentioned a few times but I cant seem to find anything out about it online, so my questiononlins are... What happens if it goes bad? Can it cause a rougrough idle? Can I test it? Where is it located? Ive already checked uvch, ipc, map, injectors, cps, fuel pump and filters. It runs great at times then other times it runs rough but as it settles back to idle its very sporadic like the injectors arent firing correctly. Struggles to start sometimes (itll start up at about 250 rpm and take a second to sputter up to idle. Dont know whats wrong or what to try anymore. 95 7.3 xlt 4x4

No dont have a fuel pressure gauge and just put new pump, it has more power than before which makes me think its not the pump but could be, and no how do I test the idm, I was thinking the idm might be the culprit? The motor was put in the truck with unknown miles but it is a 95 engine with a auto trans but the engine has to have around 230xxx at least on it

You can check the fuel pressure with a $3 stick style tire pressure gauge. Just test it at the Shrader valve (like a valve stem) on the driver side of the FPR assembly on the fuel bowl. Keep a rag down there or you may get sprayed, but you're looking for somewhere in the neighborhood of 55-70 PSI at idle. If you're below that you may need to shim the FPR spring. Search for BB mod and you should find a bunch of how-to threads.
For a rough idle though, I doubt it's fuel pressure. You can (and should) check it anyway, but I am guessing it is a bad ICP or IPR.
Swapping in a used IDM isn't a bad idea either if you can get access to one.
