2012 ecoboost cutting out while accelerating

There is a Ford TSB for this
This is most likely condensation in your CAC (intercooler). The CAC issue causes engine hesitation and stumbling under load (typically moderate to hard acceleration or heavy up a steep hill) when conditions outside are just right. The worst conditions are cool and wet. I just had this happen to my 2011 EB and it's at the dealer getting a new CAC and software.

Carried mine in this AM for same issue. Got a call back it needs Plugs and plug boots. Coils are all good. Started out about a week ago just a few misses during heavy acceleration while passing on a 2 lane road. Yesterday went to bad cut outs on most any acceleration over 2500 RPM. It would Rev fine in Neutral.
Bottom line.... tune up at the cost of $339.00. Sounds High to me!!!

Just got back from dealer and picking up my truck. Runs right now.
Plugs were 9.33 ea. and boots about $3 each. Labor about $125.00, and the cost to read codes, reflash computer, etc was $110.00. That to me is too much for that, BUT when you have the only show in town to do certain things.... It comes with a price!
It still seems to me that the $110 should have been included in the $125 figure. Anyone that wants to enlighten me as to why other wise will be fine.
