1961 F100 Crown Vic 460 engine (need motor mounts)!!
Before I begin. Yes I did spend a little time searching. I wasnt able to find someone like myself to help answer this question. Please go easy on me.
I have a 61 unibody that I just added the 2007 P71 Crown Vic front end to. Im having a hard time finding the correct motor mounts to put my 460 engine into. I have asked a few people on youtube and havent yet gotten a responce. I have purchased the mounts from a 93 F-250. They did not work.
Again, any advice is helpful.

I doubt you will find an off the shelf mount for your needs. You are probably going to have to fabricate "adapters" to fit the CV cross member and to mate up to what ever insulators (mounts) you decide to use.
I have seen CV swap write ups with pictures on this site, as well as other sites. A second look at those might get the creative juices flowing.
Good luck.

engine mounts
The easiest way to adapt your engine to your frame would be to fab a front and rear engine plate. You would still need a rear trans mount to support the tail shaft housing. A set up like that is good for easy hedder routing. You may be able to buy a set from Jegs or Summit. They are not hard to build if it comes to that. Good luck!
